To escape the horrid Las Vegas heat I decided to take the girls to Salt Lake for a few weeks. We had a wonderful time! We were able to spend lots of time with Grandma Johnson, despite her busy schedule. While Grandma was away at work we stayed pretty busy. We took long walks around the pretty lake in Daybreak. We played at fun parks and did a lot of shopping. It would have been perfect if only Mike could have joined us. We missed Daddy a bunch.
One of the days we went to Wheeler farm and had a picnic. Julia had a great time looking at all the farm animals and chasing the ducks.
We got to go and check out Grandma and Grandpas new house in Herriman. It is a perfect house. We can't wait to go back and visit when they get all settled in.
We had some special visitors one day. Jared, Brianna, and the kids came to Utah for a birthday party and had some time to kill, so they stopped by and spent some time swimming in the pool. The kids had a great time.
There is a super fun rec. center in Herriman. It has a super fun indoor pool. We met some friends there that recently moved to Salt Lake from Vegas. It was fun to catch up with them. Julia LOVED the slide and didn't want to leave when it was time to go. We will definitely go back there the next time we visit.

That was a fun couple of hours with your girls! We missed you while you were up there but I'm sure you weren't missing the heat out here :)
